It's probably b/c they are doing this.It only lasted until the girl finished her book - the remainder of the Louisa May Alcott COFA story that I began reading last week. Out of the 10 COFA books received last week - the girl has finished about two and the boy has been reading a third - Sacagawea.
Notice the bare feet on both of them. That's pretty much how they are day in and day out regardless of the season or the temperature. Socks & shoes are required when they go out (except weather permitting) but as soon as they get in the house - the socks and shoes are off.

I run or I should say walk around with bare feet no matter what the temperature is!
guess that's where they get it from...actually I guess I do go barefoot - but only weather permitting. Right now I have on socks AND slippers!
I HATE wearing shoes in the house. I just cannot feel comfortable when my shoes are still on.
My kids are barefoot as much as possible too. They got it from me!
