Clove Apples

Today the kids worked for 2 hours cloving some apples.

Last year they made clove oranges that ended up rotting...I made a clove apple last year and it dried successfully, so this year we just stuck with apples.

The kids worked on the apples up in the kitchen and yet I could smell that delicious clovish scent when I was in the basement!

Nice to see the kids working so hard to make something so pretty!

What do you do with it when it dries out - does it still smell?

You can put it in a linen closet or cupboard to make things smell nice. Mine still smells great after 1 yr...when I need a clove "fix" I just take it out and smell it :)
