A sure sign of Global Cooling I'd say. I hope they survive.
Most of Saturday it was raining and at some point in the wee hours, it turned into snow.
Dd commented to me, "I wonder what the Global Warming People (GWP) think about this."

Because of the additional snow and rain that we received, we have the worry of flooding here! Your flowers are hardy and should be okay. Early bloomers are the strongest!
I wonder what Mr. Gore is thinking about the current climate events. Don't think we had so much snow in the last decade as this year...a clear sign of Global warming indeed...haha. Take car and good luck with yoru flowers,

By the next day the flowers were doing great - that bit of snow didn't seem to harm that much at all. And I can't believe how big my perennials already are - one already has a bud on it!
Looking back at this post from 2009 is slightly humourous given how little snow we've had in the winters since.
Glad your flowers were ok though.
