This is one of my all-time favorite greeting cards...and with my ankle still swelling - I can relate to the thick ankles. I found a batch of them about 4 years ago at a used electronics store (??) . As I was paying for them the cashier told me that they were found in a dumpster behind a store...hmmm
Regardless - I did send some out (though hopefully I remembered to moisten the envelope with something other than my tongue) but kept one b/c I liked it so much. Sometimes I just have it sitting out on my desk.

I was not blessed with large hair like Nancy - though my husband might look similar to that if he let his hair go a few months without a cut...it grows up and out rather than down.
It's amazing how you come across such interesting items! It gave me a chuckle when you mentioned the "licking" of the envelope!

actually only one swollen ankle...ankle I broke back in August still swells up - usually in the evening. I'm on a RX for it but sounds like it just takes awhile for it to get back to normal...
ReplyDeleteYou should never lick ANY envelope - I have heard that there are animals roaming around in buildings where they are made - don't know if it is a rumor - but don't lick just in case :)
