How on earth can it NOT be a war game? I'm pretty sure there aren't bombs and generals in Candyland...I do love Stratego though, it really makes you think and plan ahead!
Stratego is a great BATTLE game (there, I didn't say war). I always enjoyed Stratego because it has some similarities to chess, my favorite game.When I play chess, it is war!
Imagine a six and a nine year old playing such a hard game! That takes brains! Obviously they have it!
A war game is a war game. My beatnik parents wouldn't let me touch Battleship for crying out loud!
