So anywhooo - I told her I'd post her blog entry on our family blog...here it is. The only thing I did was correct a couple of spelling errors...
"MAKING A PLAYHOUSE Most people have a garage or a shed - so why not make it a playhouse for your kids? Fill a pail with water for a sink, a ladder makes a bookcase, and a box a table! Use empty cans, cartons, and jugs for food holders. If you want rooms use chalk to draw them! Now for my time-saver Tuesday tip! If you home school before you start a new spelling list have a test to see what words to practice! POSTED BY GROOVYGIRL "
What great tips, Groovy Girl! You are going to make a great blogger some day!
ReplyDeleteGroovy Girl-what a great idea you had on how to make a playhouse ! Keep the ideas coming !
ReplyDeleteAs an English teacher I love it when kids love to write... normally they moan about it!
ReplyDeleteGroovy Girl - great post! My dad made me a playhouse when I was little...and I practically LIVED in it! I also made playhouses out of other fun places. I like your "chalk rooms" idea. You sound like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteGroovy Girl's Mom - Thanks for your comment on my blog today. Sounds like you're just as groovy as your daughter!
Very cool. I will make sure to pass these tips on to my kids so they can use them.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all who commented on my dd's posting - she was THRILLED.
ReplyDeleteShe's already thinking about what she'll write the next time.
